Last weekend we went to a swap meet that was being held at a local feed store. We took our 4 baby rabbit and a few doz eggs with the hope of selling them all.
We were told "No Freebies" so we asked $2 each for the rabbits.
We only sold one rabbit and no eggs!

On our way home we called in to visit with friends, who, like us have ducks, geese and chickens running all over the place.
We told them of our disappointing time at the swap meet. M. phoned a neighbor and told him we had baby rabbits and did he want one. He came right over and took a bunny.
Then, someone came to buy eggs from M. but she was right out. She asked if she could buy some from me and took 4 doz.

Then, M's husband asked if we needed any hay. Turns out he was GIVEN hundreds of bales of hay.
He has 64 bales already on a trailer that he was going to burn!
We said we would take it all off his hands and he said as it is already on the trailer he will deliver it to us!
We will of course pay him for delivery. The hay is free. Wow, that is over a years feed for the goats.

I told M. I should have skipped that swap meet altogether and gone straight to their place...! lol
